Salthouse has been working hard to stay busy while we wait to resume partying again. This time has allowed us to create and offer a great new way to enjoy Salthouse cooking at home or on the go. We know you’re tired of cooking at home – so relax and let us handle the hard work!

Designed for smaller groups, families or individuals, our new Gourmet to Go Menu brings custom catering that was previously reserved for large parties to your home, vacation rental, hotel room or office.  

Our new menu includes appetizers, cocktail platters, snacks, salads, sides, ready to heat and eat entrees, desserts and more - all prepared with love by our culinary team. 

Need a Cheese or Charcuterie board?  No problem. How about some House Pickled Shrimp or Mini Ham Biscuits? We’ve got em.  Home Made Desserts? Look no further! Delicious entrees like Crab Cakes, Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs or Eggplant Parmesan?  Dinner is ready!  Hearty dinner portions with two sides ensure that no one will go hungry.  

Easy online ordering makes the whole process contact free.  You can peruse the menu ahead of time and place your order anytime. We kindly ask for 48 hours (Monday through Friday) notice.  We offer FREE (and contact free) delivery within 10 miles of our kitchen ($75 order minimum) or curbside pickup from our James Island location ($50 order minimum).  

Salthouse is excited to also offer easy ordering for products created in our commissary kitchen.  Enjoy artisanal “pickled” goodness by Kenchi Ferments. Try the signature Kenchi or branch out and try Orange Coriander Kenchi or Turmeric Tomato. All gluten and dairy free, raw and vegan, this stuff is delicious by itself or on just about anything.  

Also available through online ordering are some incredible seasonal fruit pies prepared with love by James Beard nominated pastry chef, Cynthia Wong, of Life Raft Treats. Think fresh blueberries, cherries or peach pies – all you need is a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you’re all set.
