Updated Covid 19 Safety Guidelines - August 2021
Salthouse Catering is happy to be back to business catering events and feeding people. While we have relaxed some of our Covid protocols regarding styles of food service, we are still doing our best to keep our staff and guests healthy and working.
We felt we were on the right path for several months, but the recent increase in Covid cases locally and nationally is causing us to revisit our policies again. We’re strongly urging our staff to be vaccinated and providing opportunities to do so. As of last week, we’re requiring all staff wear masks while working for Salthouse, regardless of vaccination status. This applies at our office, kitchen, warehouse and while we’re off site at events.
We’re also continuing to practice heightened sanitation standards at the office/kitchen/warehouse to ensure that all frequently touched services are being sterilized in the morning and the afternoon as well as providing additional sanitation supplies for off premise events. We continue to collect information for contact tracing purposes with all visitors to our kitchen, office and tasting room. Upon arriving to work, before clocking in, all staff are required to answer a health questionaire that confirms they’re feeling well and that they’ve not been in contact with anyone who’s tested positive for Covid 19.
These efforts are all to stop the spread of Covid 19 and to keep scheduled events happening. Please do your part to keep our local event industry working and healthy.
