Salthouse Catering is looking for qualified banquet servers and event chefs to join our motivated team. By seamlessly blending our sense of family, genuine passion and unique mindset as epicures, we continue to set ourselves apart for our guests and from our competitors.
We are looking for teammates who will grow with us as we blossom into one of Charleston’s Premier Caterers.

Banquet Servers

  • -Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and assisting with food display

  • -Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests

  • -Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service

  • -Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness

  • -Provide uniform in accordance with Salthouse Catering standards for presentation

  • -High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • -Food + Bev experience preferred but not required.

Event Chefs

  • -Set-up and organize kitchen and supplies for the most efficient production of food as delegated by Head Chef.

  • -Assist in off-site food preparation (Heating Plating, Garnishing, etc.)

  • -Practice proper safe food handling procedures.

  • -Break down and clean kitchen after events, maintaining Salthouse Catering standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

  • -Practice proper safe food handling procedures.

  • -Previous kitchen experience preferred.

  • -High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Salthouse offers competitive hourly pay according to experience.
