Salthouse Catering Updated Covid 19 Safety Guidelines
Based on current information provided by SCDHEC and the CDC, Charleston County is currently considered “medium” in number of cases and risk of transmission. Given this updated information, Salthouse is doing our best to stay current in our policies and protocol. We will continue to maintain our high standards of sanitation and cleaning protocols on site at our kitchen, tasting room and offices and off premise for all events. Hand washing and good personal hygiene habits are always strongly encouraged.
Below are our most up to date recommendations for the health and safety of our team, clients and guests:
We will no longer require the use of a mask for staff working events unless the host or venue specifically requests or requires such or unless the individual is following quarantine or isolation guidelines.
We will no longer require the use of a mask for staff in the kitchen, office or tasting room unless the individual is following quarantine or isolation guidelines.
If you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions
Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
Get tested if you have symptoms. If you test positive, please follow the isolation guidelines in the link below.
Should someone have direct contact with a person who tests positive or test positive themself, we ask that the employee to follow the recommendations for isolation and quarantine based on vaccination status: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html
If an employee has direct contact or exposure to someone who has tested positive, they will stay home and quarantine for 5 days. We require a covid test on day 6 and must see a negative result before that employee returns to work.
